CELEBRATION

Everyone who comes here does it with a purpose. To get out of pain, to be able to move better, breathe better, digest food better, connect to your hands or feet better. There is a long list of reasons why you might be here, but to sum it up everyone is here to live better. You are here for results because you want more out of life. It works out really well because our purpose is to help people get better. It’s what drives us, gets us excited for the day and has us leaving with smiles at the end of the day. Often in the push to get results/get you better, we have our heads down and are pressing into the work. We press forward every day to make sure that our work is excellent, but it often feels like something is missing.

Day after day we hear amazing stories of how your lives are changing, but rarely is there ever a celebration to go with it. We celebrate birthdays, but we don’t celebrate when someone’s life is saved? Standing back and looking at this from a bird’s eye view . . . it just doesn’t make sense! Just yesterday a Mom and daughter were in and the Mom told me that the daughter hadn’t had a migraine since starting over a year ago. She was excited, I was happy, but there was no celebration. Have you ever had a migraine? Missing just 1 a migraine is cause for major celebration, but not getting them for over a year and likely ever again, is priceless and amazing and beautiful, and needs to be celebrated!!

So here it is, our new commitment – to celebrate more. Not just birthdays or trivial things, but your success and your life. When lives change in this place, it is crucial to the New Life community that we take a moment to celebrate! It is so easy to miss the joy in life, but like many things, it’s a choice. By the end of January, you will see our beautiful Miracle Bell up on the wall – we are making the choice to get our heads up, find the joy (and share it), and to celebrate your victories.

Your role (in the celebration) – let us know! Tell us when you have something that needs to be celebrated. You deserve our best and our best includes the celebration, and the rest of the New Life community deserves to hear about your victory too.

It is a blessing and privilege to be able to work with you, the amazing people who come here. I’m looking forward to the celebrations!

Bless you,
Dr. Brad, Dr. Paul, Dr. Dan and the New Life Team
