Last week when I was speaking with a patient she said, “The right coach makes all the difference.” And it is true, who you are lead by in your life does make all the difference! When it comes to health we see people both inside and outside New Life who realize it or not, one way or another are following the lead of a coach. Sometimes they are flourishing, doing the right things to become their best because they are following the right lead. Other times they are declining because they are following the wrong lead (ie. “You have this, oh okay, then take this and fill it at the pharmacy”… this type of coaching says, “pills, pills and more pills.” One medication often leads to others, in fact the stats show nearly 1/2 of seniors take over 13 medications a day), and it never leads someone to flourish!
This is a very good place to add in – Congratulations to Laurie who has recently gotten off 12+ medications she was taking each day. Why? Because she wasn’t happy with how that type of coaching was putting her on a slippery slope when it comes to her health. Way to go Laurie!!!
What’s new at New Life this year? We know the best coaches work with the best people and we’ve already got that nailed – you, our New Life family are awesome! The best coaches also work with the very best candidates for their coaching. And in our case the best candidates are usually young. When do spinal problems happen and start to accumulate? When you are young. Sometimes people come in hurt after a lift or a slip or a bend and can’t hardly move, are an advanced phase three on x-ray and believe their problem started the day before. Wrong! It started when they were young.
We love helping everyone who comes in through our doors, including you. But… for many of you, wish we could have caught your problems while you were young!
Growing pains, stomach aches, allergies, bed wetting, attention problems and problems focusing, headaches, colic – all symptoms that point to a specific problem!
“Growing pains?” you say. Yes, pain is the body telling you there is a problem – growing isn’t a problem, it’s what kids are supposed to do! Misinformed coaches often say growing pain is normal… it’s not normal! If kids have pain, it’s not normal and it is always their body’s way of saying there is a problem.
So, we’ve got lots of kids who come here, but we want more! Put in a different way, we want more phase ones! We love working with all of you, and it doesn’t mean we don’t want to work with you if you’re not a kid, but, start thinking about kids who should be here! All kids need a check up! Help us to catch the problems while they are young!
God Bless,
