FIRING UP YOUR RIGHT BRAIN

Last time I talked about the imbalance of development and use of the brain. In most people in our society the right brain is weak and under-utilized (making it unable to do it’s primary jobs, which include higher level reasoning, and dampening/inhibiting your sympathetic nervous system. When the right brain is underactive the left brain gets wound up, meaning it goes unchecked by the right brain, and its signals start to cycle and escalate to increase negative emotions, stress and reactiveness, an over-activated immune system (autoimmune disease) and other life limiting processes.

So last week I let you know about this big problem… which is the underlying primary cause of our physical and mental/emotional problems and even affects us spiritually – this week I will answer the question:

What can be done?

Here is what research is showing: First and foremost, you need to have a curve in your neck. If you don’t have a curve in your neck and/or you carry your head too far forward it is impossible not to fall into a brain imbalance. Research proves it. If this is you, here is what you need to do, fight to get the curve back!! Your life most certainly depends on it. Get adjusted regularly, do your corrective exercises and get ready for more! As I learn more and more over the next months you will be given the opportunity to engage in exercises that literally help to connect your brain to your body and help to restore balance to the brain.

Second, move!! The development, maintenance and improvement of your right brain relies on movement. Movement drives right brain development. What is the primary means of transportation our bodies are designed for? If you thought, “sitting in a car” – wrong! Our bodies are designed to walk. In fact research is saying that walking at least 15 to 20 km per day is optimal! 10000 steps is a great start, but much more is better. It’s true, you were actually not designed to drive to an office, sit all day, drive home, sit for dinner and sit to watch tv, then go to bed. You need to move your body – start by taking a walk to start the day, then take another one at lunch and even better, another one before bed. If you are with a friend talk about positive things, if you’re by yourself, think positive thoughts. It all helps drive your right brain development.

Who doesn’t have a curve in their neck and/or carries their head way too far forward? 90+% of the people you know!! Similarly, how many people are in left brain wind-up and stress and worry too much? The same percentage! Who is helping your people? No one . . . unless it is you. Be of a whatever it takes mindset – drag these people in, if you have to!

God Bless,

ps – brain research is now showing that your brain literally “lights up” with signals during an adjustment. Not only that, with most stimulus brain signaling is brief, but with an adjustment, there is increased signaling (and development) for hours afterwards!
