Good Vision

 

Most of you have probably heard by now that research has unequivocally demonstrated that what you put into your brain before resting affects how your brain operates. Further research now shows that of all the sources of information your brain pulls in, that your vision is by far the primary contributor. Touch (everything your body comes in contact with or even senses close), taste, hearing, smell and position sense (how your body is positioned in space), pain or abnormal feelings in joints, abdomen, spine, etc. all of these things add up to just 30% . . . vision makes up 70% of the sensory input to your brain!!!

So, if research shows you should not put your eyes on an LED screen for at least two hours before bed because it will affect the wave patterns and operation of your brain and affects even your sleep-wake cycles. Ie. having your eyes on a screen, especially a handheld screen, is detrimental to your health and well being right down to the core workings of your central processor – you should stop doing it!

And, when you receive your specific, scientific, life changing chiropractic adjustment, all the neurons in your brain fire in response – there is a total reset that happens taking into account body position, breathing, digestion, and everything else. Step back and think about this for a second – if all of this happens in your brain during your adjustment + LED screens mix up your brain wave patterns = doesn’t it make sense to keep your eyes off of your screens before your adjustment??

Some of you have not been doing your corrective exercises, and you know before I say it, most of you are the same ones who come in and engage with your phone (or cellular watch, which is just as bad) while you wait for your adjustment. There is a complete disconnect here! You are here at New Life for life saving, corrective chiropractic care and hope for the very best results – please don’t miss the forest for the trees – when you come in, at least take that time to hit a cycle of your corrective exercises while you wait.

Don’t down grade the power of your adjustment by drawing 70% of your brain’s focus to the wrong thing – feed your brain with movement and amplify the power instead!

Hard message, but I wouldn’t say it if I didn’t want the very best for each and every one of you. And, you deserve my best, so here it is.

Whatever is true, whatever is honorable and worthy of respect, whatever is right and confirmed by God’s word, whatever is pure and wholesome, whatever is lovely and brings peace, whatever is admirable and of good repute: if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think continually on these things, center you mind on them, and implant them in your heart.
