A couple of years ago I realized that I had become unhappy with the name Bayside. It just didn’t have a message behind it. The dilemma then became what should we call our practice. We talked about it as a team, I talked about it with my wife, Natacha, and I spent some time praying about it.
At that time we had one of our amazing stories happen. A young couple had started under our care (actually the gentleman, Matt, had started close to a year earlier) Louisa was nervous about chiropractic care and it wasn’t until they had a car accident that she decided to have a spinal exam. During the exam we saw much of what we expected, subluxations in the neck and middle back and lots of pain. Pretty standard stuff. We took x-rays and afterwards I took a second to let them know that we were going to be able to help her. Also pretty standard stuff. Then something not so standard happened. Louisa said, “There is something else we wonder if chiropractic might be able to help with” They wanted to have a baby, but they had been told it would not be possible. In fact they were told that Louisa’s fallopian tubes were much too long and because of this it would be anatomically impossible. After a short discussion I found out that they could see themselves with a baby and they knew that this vision had come from God. I left the room that day with a bold statement, “If you have the vision that you will have a baby – you will. You need to stop believing what others have said – it is not impossible.” I added, “You don’t even need to believe me, just show up for your adjustments.” I rarely make such statements but that day it felt right. The rest of the story is that Louisa started care and about 11 months later beautiful baby Lucy was born – new life!
Baby Lucy was born right around the time we were searching for a meaningful name, so logically the name just popped into my head right! WRONG! It wasn’t until I was driving along and heard an announcement about a church called New Life. Instantly I could hear ‘chiropractic’ along with it. New Life Chiropractic just sounded right.
It is such a blessing to see new life grow into people’s lives on a daily basis. Here are some recent new life stories….
– Gayle has fewer headaches and is walking better.
– Sarah is off her reflux medication.
– Marie no longer suffers from constipation.
– Mike used to go through a bottle of Aspirin a month and now takes NONE.
– Susan was suffering from severe cycle pain and no longer has any pain.
– Geraldine no longer suffers from heartburn.
– Kathy no longer suffers from dizziness or pain in her left arm.
– Sandy feels a life change after starting chiropractic care.
God Bless,
